Can I sell memberships with any Squarespace website plan?
Sell memberships with a Squarespace Business or Commerce plan, or with any website plan and the Digital Products add-on.
Do memberships integrate with Squarespace Email Campaigns?
Yes! Unlike other platforms, our memberships seamlessly integrate with email campaigns. You won’t need to keep member lists in sync each time a member joins or cancels their membership. Our member list is always in sync, and you can use Email Campaigns to send emails to these members.
Can I protect everything on my website?
Yes, you can protect any page on your site. However, you currently cannot protect specific files (such as images and audio tracks) from being accessed by someone who has been given a link pointing directly to one of those files.
Can I create memberships but not charge a fee to users?
Yes, you can choose to offer a free membership. This is often used as a lower-tier plan to offer free resources, giving members a taste of what a paid membership might look like.
How much does it cost to sell digital products on Squarespace?
To sell courses, you must have a Business or Commerce plan, or add a Digital Products subscription to any website plan. We charge a 9% transaction fee on Digital Products sales with a Squarespace Business or Commerce plan, but you can lower this fee by adding a Digital Products Add-On to your subscription. The transaction fee is lowered to 7% with the Starter add-on, 3% with Core, or 0% with Pro. Credit card processor fees will still apply with all plans and add-ons.
