Reto Project’s Marketing Director, Vivienne Tsang, recently talked to Squarespace about how the business approaches product education on its website, why Easyship has been instrumental in their operations, and how they’ve stayed responsive as an online business throughout the pandemic.

SQUARESPACE: Your core product is a 3D film camera called the RETO3D. What role does your website play in educating customers about your product capabilities? 

VT: Our website utilizes rich images, videos and texts to visualize our product usage. We use an animation video to display how to make a 3D video out of a film camera with 3 lenses. We also have a separate page introducing our RETO3D APP, an app to assist in making 3D videos out of the digitized photos.

SQSP: You use Easyship to coordinate shipping and fulfillment for your customers worldwide. What impact has this extension had on the day-to-day operations of your business? 

VT: Easyship just makes our life easier. It is a handy extension — clear layout, easy to operate and perfect fit for our needs in gathering orders globally.

SQSP: As an ecommerce business, how has the digital-first world of the pandemic influenced your overall strategy and customer behavior? 

 VT: With shops closed and cities lockdown, customers are more active in the digital world. We have to make sure there's a helpful, informative website, active and frequently-updated social accounts, and responsive customer services in order to win customers worldwide.

SQSP: What role does your online presence play in reaching new audiences for your products? 

 VT: To reach new audiences worldwide is to gain exposure online. We are always prioritizing our online sales channels and social media platforms.
