ilovecreatives
Puno’s gift recommendation: ilovecreatives’ Squarespace design course
Puno launched ilovecreatives in 2014 as a newsletter, which has since grown into a personality-filled business delivering online courses, a directory of creatives, and merch. Or, in Puno’s words: “The Digital Trade School for Slashies looking to stack their creative skills alongside a good vibes community.”
In the Squarespace Design Course you’ll learn Squarespace basics, then take it to the next level with lessons on adding custom code, bringing your design vision to life, and exploring the world of freelancing.
The Posy Post
Brooke’s gift recommendation: Daily special bouquet or flower delivery for a future date
Brooke Cousins, founder of The Posy Post, is on a mission to brighten someone’s day, every day. “We're in the business of delivering kindness,” she says of the same-day online flower delivery service.
Bouquets are sourced from local Australian growers and come in multiple sizes at The Posy Post, with the option to add an extra gift and flowers changing daily based on availability. This holiday season, Brooke says, “Bring on the festive vibes. We get to read so many beautiful words on cards of kindness, love, gratitude, and excitement.”
Spark & Bell
Spark & Bell’s gift recommendation: Eala ceramic wall sconce
In the quest to make a starter home her own the founder and director of Spark & Bell, Emmer Gillespie, found herself stumped by the options available, which felt either generic or prohibitively expensive. So, she decided to make her own—and Spark & Bell was born.
The business works with local creatives to create made-to-order lighting from sustainable materials. For a limited time, the Spark & Bell has teamed up with a local English ceramicist to create the Eala ceramic wall sconce, a handcrafted light fixture to add a pop of personality to any home.
Wild Terrain
Wild Terrains’ gift recommendation: 10-day Argentina trip
Wild Terrain is a travel company specializing in small group tours for women, with a mission to cultivate meaningful relationships that propel them forward. The business cultivates relationships with local, women-owned businesses everywhere the group travels to create unique and unforgettable experiences on every trip.
“The holidays are a time for connection and pause before embarking on a new year,” says the Wild Terrain team. “This often is the jumping-off point for planning what’s ahead.” To help you or someone else plan their own journey, they recommend their Argentina group trip.
